U.S. Senate candidate Sam Brown made a final plea before Election Day in Reno – KRNV

On the eve of Election Day, U.S. Senate candidate Sam Brown made one last plea to voters in the biggest small city.

Brown and his team held a rally Monday at his campaign headquarters at Virginia and Moana streets.

“We stand on the eve of victory, knocking on a door there. On the other side, again, Kamala Harris, Chuck Schumer and Jackie Rosen are shaking right now.”

During her speech, Brown criticized the Biden-Harris administration, along with her opponent, Sen. Jackie Rosen.

After the speech, News4 caught up with the Senate candidate one-on-one.

“If you’re happy with the last few years, then you know you can vote for more of the same … and that’s what Kamala Harris as president and Jackie Rosen in the Senate,” Brown said.

Community members who attended the rally said Brown better aligns with their views.

“I want better representation of Nevada in the Senate because what we have now is not the best. So I want better representation, you know, for the economy,” said Reno voter Letisha Palmer.

Another participant echoed Palmer’s response.

“We must send him to Washington to do our bidding. And in the end, he admits that he works for us. We are the king and he is our servant … and he knows it,” said Bruce Foster, a Sparks constituent.

Sam Brown has also received endorsements from other prominent political figures, including: Nevada Congressman Mark Amodei, Assemblyman PK O’Neill and State Senate District 15 candidate Mike Ginsburg.

“Wouldn’t it be fun for the holiday season to sit there and just smile at all those people who don’t reflect what’s really important to the people of Western Nevada,” Amodei said during his commencement address for Brown.

One message that rang louder than the rest, shared by Brown and his supporters, was get out and vote.

“I’ve had people say they’re not going to vote, and I’m just begging you to get out because we’re in this together,” Brown said.

Groups open on Tuesday, November 5th at 7am
