“I took the double bacon master, the order of fried potatoes and of course, a cup of coffee, as always,” said a client.

“It’s really sad,” said Grace Brown as he waited to order. “Honestly, after church, when I grew up, we would come here a lot, so very good memories here. Such a local place. Disappointed, it was to come last time.”

For some Burgermaster fans, the family relationship is strong.

“I used to come here with my parents as a child,” said Rona Poker. “We were immigrants to Seattle and it was exotic to come and take a hamburger because my mother did not cook hamburgers.”

Employees said they would miss the history of this original landmark and, in particular, customers.

“I believe some people were born because of the dates that happened here at Burgermaster,” says chain master Ivy Green.

The cashier behind the counter said that this weekend would be special: “We will just be glad to have all these incredible here to celebrate our last day to close.”

One last weekend after 7 decades of burgers, shakes and memories.
