Two teenagers arrested for murder after a victim found in Talahasi’s road – Newsbreak

Two suspects were arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that left a man dead on the road of the 1800 block of Meriadok Road early Tuesday morning.

The Talahassi Police Department (TPD) reacted to the scene around 7:11 on January 29, where they found the victim. Detectives with the Department of Violent Crime have launched an investigation, gathering evidence and developing a probable cause of arrests of Thai Williams 17 and Deshan Jones 19.

Investigators have determined that around 1:14 in the morning, the victim drove Williams and Jones to the place before leaving the vehicle. Without obvious disputes or provocation, the victim was shot dead. The suspects then fled to the victim’s vehicle, like Jones was driving.

At approximately 3:09, a Florida highway patrol officer tried to stop the traffic on the stolen vehicle near the Leon-Jeffer County line. The driver escaped, leading to a crash near the Jefferson County Court. Williams and Jones escaped on foot.

The special group of the Marshals of the United States detained both suspects the next day near the Jackson Bluff Road of Jackson Bluff without incidents.

Both suspects are against accusations of first -degree murder and a major theft of a motor vehicle. The Talahassi Police Department expressed gratitude to all agencies involved in bringing justice into the victim’s family.
