Two teenagers were arrested for causing death by dangerous driving in Birmingham.

Two teenagers were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a man died in a crash in Hall Green.

Two cars were involved when it happened on Stratford Road last night shortly before 7:15 pm, one of which went into a tree.

One of the drivers, a man of his 50s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but later died.

The residents of the other car fled the stage.

Later, two teenagers introduced themselves in a police station in connection with the clash. The 18-year-old and 19-years-old were detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The 19-year-old was taken to a hospital for health inspections while the other teenager was taken to the police.
