LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — North Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying two people they say were caught on camera leaving a fatally shot teenager in a hospital lobby.
On Friday, October 11, at approximately 12:30 a.m., officers from the North Las Vegas Police Department were called to the area of Webb Avenue and Davis Place after reports of shots fired.
Shortly after the shooting, two masked men carried a teenage victim, later identified as Demetrius Powell Jr., 14, to a nearby hospital, left him on the lobby floor and fled the area.
Hospital staff pronounced Powell dead. Details about the shooting that led to his death were not known at the time of publication.
During the investigation, police found security camera footage of the two.
NLVPD detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the two people shown in the above photo.
