Update (10/20, 4:23 p.m.):
One of our two News Nevada staffers was able to sneak a peek inside the new Twin Peaks restaurant on Saturday during the soft opening and spoke with Director of Operations Eric Hamilton.
Of the choice to bring the restaurant to the area, Hamilton said, “We love Reno — it’s an amazing city. We were so excited to bring an amazing new concept to town here. [We] they have Twin Peaks all over the country, they’re expanding into new markets, and they just think it’s long overdue for Reno to get Twin Peaks. We are so excited to open our lodge here.”
The location features a “Man Cave” – a private dining room that is available for private parties and events. The new space also includes a cigar bar and patio with heaters and canopies for around-the-clock dining.
“We expect to be very busy. We will be opening this Monday the 21st. We’ll have Monday Night Football; all matches will play. We’re going to have playoff baseball. We have games in the bar and over 85 TVs,” says Hamilton. “We’re expecting a great turnout in the evening when we open at 5 o’clock. Just so excited for people to enjoy Twin Peaks…our scratch kitchen – we can’t wait!”
Twin Peaks will be open from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM most nights and until 1:00 AM on Fridays and Saturdays.
