Former President Donald Trump is set to hold a massive campaign rally at New York’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday, just nine days before the upcoming election. The event, which quickly sold out after the announcement, will take place at the 19,500-seat venue, home of the New York Knicks and New York Rangers.

The Trump campaign promised a star-studded program featuring political icons, celebrities, music artists and friends and family of the former president. The event aims to highlight President Trump as the best choice to deal with the problems allegedly caused by Kamala Harris.

Notable figures expected to attend the rally include Elon Musk, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) CEO Dana White, former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, political commentator Tucker Carlson and former Democratic presidential nominee Republican Tulsi Gabbard.

From the music world, Death Row Records founder Michael Harris Jr., singer Lee Greenwood and opera singer Christopher Macchio are scheduled to perform. The Garden, which has hosted both the Republican National Convention (RNC) and the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in the past, will be the backdrop for this landmark event.

The event sold out quickly, featuring political icons, celebrities and music acts.

President Trump’s campaign has expressed intentions to compete in traditionally blue states like New Jersey, Virginia, Minnesota and New Mexico. Trump has previously expressed his commitment to addressing New York’s problems, focusing specifically on public safety and law enforcement.

The rally marks Trump’s second major event in New York, following a successful rally at the Nassau Coliseum in Long Island last month. The campaign has received overwhelming support at previous rallies, with thousands of attendees turning out to hear the former president speak.

While the likelihood of New York turning red in the upcoming election remains slim, the rally is seen as a strategic move to energize Republican voters and potentially impact down-ballot races such as the House majority battle.
