January 25 (Upi) – President Donald Trump thanked his Nevada supporters for their votes in the November elections and announced his impetus to eliminate taxes on advice on advice during a visit to Las Vegas on Saturday.
Trump took the stage at the Las Vegas casino after introducing remarks of Las Vegas Rick Harrison’s celebrity and NEVADA GOP chairman Michael McDonald, praised his supporters for the decisive role they played in the performance of the state’s electoral voice.
“I just came here because I wanted to thank the Nevada people for giving us such a big victory,” he said.
The November elections marked the first time a Republican candidate won the state after 20 years. He took the country with 50.6% of the vote compared to 47.5% of Kamala Harris.
The president also announced his promise of a campaign to remove taxes on inclined income, a proposal that he first revealed in June in Nevada, a country that has 350,000 employees of the hospitality of the working class, many of whom are immigrants.
The proposal appeared to receive support among the United Casino Workers, whose leadership has thrown their support for Harris. Later, the democratic candidate responded with his own promise to remove the tax.
“In the coming weeks, I will work with the Congress to receive an account of my desk, which reduces taxes for workers, families, small businesses and, very importantly, respects my promise of something called” without tax on advice. “Trump told the Trump applause.
“So, if you are a restaurant worker, server, maid … Any other worker who relies on income with slope, your tips will be 100 percent of yours,” he added.
His visit to Las Vegas came at the end of the swirling disaster tour of North Carolina, which was affected by flooding after the devastation of hurricane Helen last October, and Los Angeles, where wild fires killed at least 28 people, burned 55,000 decares and destroyed 16 188 structures.
Trump said he would visit Nevada while traveling on wild fire sites in Los Angeles on Friday.
The owners of casino in Las Vegas are among some of Trump’s largest financial supporters. His largest donor in 2024 is Miriam Adelson, the wife of the late Sheldon Adelson, the founder of the casino empire in Las Vegas Sands. Adelson had a place in Trump’s first line this week, sitting directly behind former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Casino.org reported.
Circus owner Phil Rufin is also present at the ceremony.
Among the attendees of the event on Saturday was Stuart Rhodes, the leader of the oath of the oath, whose long sentence, arising from January 6, 2021, was awarded the US Capitol uprising this week, CNN reported.
Rhodes, who was serving an 18-year stay for a sitting conspiracy, was seen entering the event a few hours before Trump’s planned remarks, the television operator said.
He and other members of the oath of the oath on Friday were ordered by US District Court Judge Amit Mehta to stay away from Washington or the grounds of Capitol in the United States without first obtaining a court authorization.
