Donald Trump’s campaign accuses Hillary Clinton of making ‘disgusting’ remarks against the former president. The failed 2016 Democratic presidential candidate accused the Republican candidate of trying to “recreate” the infamous 1939 Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden. She made the shocking remark just minutes after calling Trump a “fascist” during a meeting with CNN anchor Caitlin Collins on Thursday.

Hillary Clinton compared Trump’s rally to Hitler’s

The former United States Secretary of State made a bold statement about Trump’s upcoming campaign event at Madison Square Garden during his interview on Thursday. Hillary likened the former president to German dictator Adolf Hitler, telling Collins that “Trump is basically reenacting the 1939 Madison Square Garden rally.” “So I don’t think we can ignore it,” she stated.

In justifying her views on Trump, the former first lady claimed that “fascist” – “Unfortunately, here in America, the term fits.” She went on to say, “I write about it in my book,” adding, “President Franklin D. Roosevelt was horrified that neo-Nazis, fascists in America were lining up to pledge their support for the government they saw in Germany.”

Calling Hillary’s remarks about Trump “disgusting,” Trump campaign national press secretary Caroline Leavitt said in a statement to the New York Post, “Hillary Clinton is so confused by her raging 8-year case of anti-Trump derangement syndrome that she has forgotten HER did an event at Madison Square Garden when she was a senator and her husband Bill accepted the Democratic nomination there.” “Her hypocrisy aside, Hillary’s rhetoric about half the country is disgusting.”
