Tropicana to see a series of closures near I-15-Las Vegas Review-Journal

Tropicana Avenue near the Interstate 15 has been designated for multiple full and partial closure for a few weeks.

The planned closures are tied to the I-15-Tropicana exchange of $ 385 million, which will be completed this year. During the closure, crews will reconstruct a section of Tropicana in Dean Martin Drive, with work, including restriction, barrier installation and intersection improvements.

As of Monday and running 24/7 to 18 February, Tropicana will be reduced to two strips in any direction at the intersection of Dean Martin, with the southern half of the tropica closed. There will be no access to Dean Martin, who is directed east or west of Tropicana. Access to businesses within the working area will be maintained during the closure of the tape.

Full closure of the tropican between Avenue Polaris and I-15 is planned to happen between February 21 and February 5 February 19. During this time, I-15 south outside the ramp to Topikana there will be a strip to access the tropic to the east; Access to the West will be closed.

Finally, from February 19 to March 7, Tropicana will again be up to two strips in any direction at the intersection of Dean Martin, with the northern half of Tropicana closed. Access to both directions of Dean Martin of Tropicana will also be closed during work.

Motorists should use the recently open road of Joey Bishop during the trip to the east and west.
