What we know

Delaware State Police arrested 34-year-old Thomas Hudson, 32-year-old Ashley Newcomb, and 37-year-old Alonza Mosley, all from Newark, Delaware, for many thefts and related accusations after a series of thefts from all the holy cemetery in Wilmington.

According to police between September 2024 and November 2024, soldiers investigated numerous thefts from the All Saints Cemetery.

In each incident, they say that four suspects, carrying large bags or backpacks, are transferred to the cemetery property after hours and stolen bronze ceremonial vases from the individual tombstones.

They say the suspects then fled the stolen vases in a car that was parked nearby.

The suspects stole nearly 200 vases, with a total value of over $ 100,000 in stolen property during this three -month period.

Following a further investigation, Troopers found that the suspects had sold the stolen vases at a recycling center in a new castle different times during the three months.

The troops also found that the suspects had presented themselves to an individual using his identification to complete each transaction.

After months of investigation, soldiers identify the suspects responsible for thefts such as Hudson, Newcomb and Mosley.

Search and arrest management were executed for the three identified suspects.

The trio was taken in custody without incidents at a Newark residence on Wednesday.
