Exceptional weather conditions such as hurricanes and snowstorms are becoming more and more common and cause the school closure and delay. Many schools across the country make clean energy solutions for various benefits, including maintenance of schools open during power supply.
The replacement of diesel school buses with electric buses significantly reduces the health risks associated with diesel emissions, such as cancer and respiratory problems. Schools using solar energy report reductions in their electricity bills by as much as 90%.
From saving money to shrinking carbon prints, there are many benefits for schools using renewable energy resources.
For the college in Charleston, I am Renard Harris.
