Track heavy potential – WAFB

Baton Rouge, La. (Wafb) – Tuesday time: Today, cloudy and light will begin, then most cloudy with scattered showers/storms that develop later today, maximums in the lower 80s.

Full moon Wednesday

The second full moon of the year, the Snow Moon, will be visible both tonight and tomorrow night, with the weather allowing.

Threat

There is a level of two mild risk of strong/heavy storms on Wednesday afternoon and night.

Severe risks

All four modes of heavy weather will be possible, with the main threat being strong winds and the next threat is isolated tornado. The threat window will be Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Another strong threat

This weekend, Saturday afternoon and evening there will be a second severe threat, again, again two light risk categories.

Future amounts of rain

The estimated rains will be one to two inches in total with possible local sums in the next seven days, mainly on Wednesday and Saturday.

Prolonged

The extended prognosis requires the temperatures of trains with a pair of cold fronts, one on Wednesday and the other on Saturday.
