Track and Field Bears Complete Washburn Open – Athletics at Missouri State University

Topeka, Khan. – Missouri’s state track and field ended their time in Topeka, Cannes, with a handful of top second day performances by Washburn Open and Multis on Saturday.

Senior Kamdin Moody He finished sixth in Pentatlon with a personal record of 3 256 points. Moody launches the combined events in second place with the final in the 60-meter obstacles with a time of 9.02. She then finished first in the height jump after an attempt of 1.61 m to stay in a second. Moody fell to fourth after the shot set with a 10.52 m attempt, then moved back to third place in a long jump of 5.18 m. The 800-meter running decided Moody’s fate. Sophomore Olivia Rogers It was the only bear to go to the last round of the 60-meter dash. Rogers ranked eighth with 7.57 seconds, and it was the last runner to make the abbreviation. Between the semifinals and the finals, Rogers found a way to shave .04 seconds of his time to finish third with a personal record of 7.53 seconds.

Kaley jenkins., Shacky Douglas and Bryana Howard He also competed in the semifinals after qualifying in the first round race on Friday. Jenkins ended with a time of 7,77, Douglas with a time of 7.85 and Howard with a time of 7.86.

“We definitely draw some things and make progress,” chief trainer Jordan Fife He said. “We need a little more sequence and a little more intensity over the next few weeks to be where we have to be at a conference.”
