Toyota recalls more than 140,000 vehicles for seat belt, brake problems – FOX 5 Las Vegas

(CNN) – Toyota issued two safety recalls that include more than 140,000 vehicles.

The first withdrawal is applied to Toyota Tacomas from 2024 to 2025. Toyota employees claim that rear brake hoses can be damaged over time and cause brake fluid leakage, increasing the risk of crash.

Another recall is for 2025 Toyota Camrys, Lexus NX and some models from 2024 to 2025 lexus RX. Officials say that these cars may have damaged seat belts that may not meet certain requirements for power. This may increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Toyota and Lexus dealers will repair the drawn cars for free.

To see if or recalling your car, visit the Toyota or National Traffic Safety Website on highways and enter your car’s VIN number.

Otherwise, customers will be informed that their cars have been recalled until early April.
