The NFL has all 32 teams in action in Week 8 of the 2024 season, which means there are plenty of opportunities to find a player to bet on to score a touchdown on Sunday.
The SI Betting team shares our favorite all-time touchdown scorer picks each week, and in Week 8, we’re targeting two rookies — and one veteran — to hit paydirt.
The NFL betting insider thinks the Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back could be underrated against the Atlanta Falcons, while Iain MacMillan targets the best rookie to score in a divisional game.
Three players on plus money to get six?
It doesn’t get much better than that for Week 8.

Rachaad White Anytime TD (+110) – Jennifer Piacenti
Without Evans or Godwin, the Buccaneers will have to use their entire backcourt and use their pass-catching abilities. White caught two touchdowns Monday night against the Ravens and has a 13 percent target percentage on the season. White could easily be the most targeted player in this game, and he has seen 10 looks in the red zone this season. Bucky Irving will also miss this contest, leaving more options for White. —Piacenti
Brock Bowers Anytime TD (+255) – Ian McMillan
The Kansas City Chiefs have struggled to defend against tight ends all season, so it makes sense to bet on one of the league’s most efficient tight ends to find the end zone, especially at +255 odds.
The Las Vegas Raiders rookie tight end is sixth in the NFL in targets this season with 60, and he has seen double-digit targets along with 8+ receptions in three straight games.
Also, if the Chiefs get out to a big lead, a negative play scenario should give Bowers even more opportunities through the air.
Tyreek Hill Anytime TD (+110) – Peter Dewey
Tyreek Hill hasn’t scored a touchdown for the Miami Dolphins since Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and in Week 7 he had a season-low one catch for eight yards.
However, with Tua Tagovailoa expected to return to the lineup in Week 8 against the Arizona Cardinals, Hill should flourish again.
One of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL, Hill led the league in touchdown receptions (13) and receiving yards (1,799) last season when Tagovailoa played in all 17 games.
He should be the most favored former first-round pick returning under center, and he’s a plus-money steal to snag a touchdown against Arizona.
