Top 5 Spots of Spring Semester in Talahasi – Its campus

This article was written by a student writer from her campus in FSU head.

If you are something like me, entering training mode can sometimes feel impossible, especially with the spring time that calls your name and fun activities that happen all around you. Before you know it, hours passed and you didn’t do a single job. But don’t worry, I’ve been there before and covered you!

The number of the best study sessions is finding the right place. Fortunately for you, all my time at FSU, I have come across several places that make learning a much more enjoyable (and, I dare say, even a little fun). So if you want to do things this spring, here are five of my favorite places, I’m sure you will like it!

Landis Green

If you like to study outside, Landis Green should be in your list! Situated right in the heart of the campus, this herbaceous area is ideal for soaking a little vitamin D while knocking out your task list. Get your friends, picnic blanket, laptop and homework and you’re all done. It’s an easy place to stop between your hours or just on a day off.

Landis will bring the perfect balance between being productive and having fun. There are always events here to enjoy when you finish learning. Plus, if you are lucky, you may even notice some charming dogs running around, which makes the whole experience even better!

Midtown Reader & the Piebrary

I recently discovered this place with my roommate and this quickly became one of my favorite places. Just a six -minute drive car from the campus, Midtown Reader is a charming bookstore with a hidden treasure on the second floor, The Piebrary. This is the perfect place when you need a cozy, bigger environment to focus on your homework. But I will tell you that this is a small space with limited seating areas, so be sure to get there early before it is full!

And here’s the best part: Once you have wrapped your work, get one of their special pies or freshly cooked coffee or tea. This is the perfect award for a productive research session!

Redeye Coffee

The Redeye Coffee in Midtown has become one of my cafes to study since I found it in the finals of the finals last fall. This is the perfect place to catch up with friends as you finish work. Coffee has many seating areas, so I should never worry about finding a place, but a spacious, warm atmosphere makes it easier to focus. The menu is amazing and the staff is always super friendly.

If you are looking for a pickup while studying, I strongly recommend their ice caramel vanilla latte. This is my favorite beverage on the menu and has the right balance of caffeine and sweetness to feed you!

Strozier library

Listen to me: I know the Strozier library is a common choice for most FSU students. But I would have been lying if I said I didn’t spend the bigger part of my time here. It is there that I always find myself between the hours, whether I catch up with tasks or clutches in some readings at the last moment of my textbooks before I go to my hours.

The library is reliable, especially if you need peace and silence. For the best experience, I suggest hitting the second or third floor, where it is not so noisy or reservation of a study room if you need an additional focus for the upcoming exam. Strozier may be a little basic, but it is preferred for a reason!

Black dogs

Last but not least is the Black Dog cafe. Situated right next to Lake Ella, this is one of the places I always return to. The atmosphere of the restraint makes it an ideal place for a study session. But honestly, the landscape is what steals the show. I like to listen to the birds to fuck and watch the calm lake while I work.

Choosing their teas, coffee and cookies is the perfect fuel to continue to study. And if you need a quick rest, walking around the lake is always a great way to clear your head before you get back into your work.

I hope my list helps you find your new favorite place to research! There are many hidden gems around Talahassi that will make your spring semester and pleasant and productive.
