Timoti Gilbert Guk

Obituary

Timoti Gilbert Guk, 69, died at St. Bernadin’s Hospital on December 22, 2024. He was born on August 2, 1955 at the Biel Air Force Base in Merisville, California. He has lived in Highland all his life. He was a member of Highland Sons of the American Legion Squadron 421. He retired at Casino San Manuel, where he worked as a support leader for 8 years. He was preceded by death by his mother Marlene A. Wright. He survived his longtime partner Carolyn Howard, his sister Ivy Portias, the step -daughter September Dakel (Joel), the grandchildren of Step Joon and Gus Dace, Aunt and Uncle Sharon and Jean Miller, Cousin Jenel Miller (Mark) and many friends.

Tim always loved old classic movies and could tell you all about the actors, every important line and more details you never knew you wanted to know. Tim’s knowledge of the old country and Western singers and songs were exceeded only by his knowledge of classical films. He and Carolyn loved to travel on small adventure trips, visiting museums and interesting points. He was also glad to go plays. Meeting his friends and his sister for a few drinks and a bite to eat several times a week was also high on his list. Visits to see John and Gus were also special to him.

Tim had an outgoing personality, was not ashamed to meet people and loved to talk. He never had much, but he was very generous with what he had.

Breathe easily, you will miss it.

The services will be held in the Montesito Memorial Park, Cypress Chapel, on February 3, 2025 at 11:00.
