Tigers host Nicolls Colonels in Alex Box on Monday night – WBRZ

Baton Rouge – No. 3 LSU begins its third week of the season with a home game against Nicholls Colonels on Monday night.

Tigers are 6-1 of the year after A 2-1 win against Omaha over the weekend. Chief coach Jay Johnson said after the tiger victory in the third game that he was pleased with how his team reacted after their first loss for the season.

Nicolls is 5-2 this season after the colonels published three Little Rock matches in Thibodaux Over the weekend. LSU runs the series of all time with Nicholls 60-25, including 9-0 win over Nicolls last season at Alex Box Stadium.

Initially, the tigers were planned to play the colonels in Tibodo last Wednesday, but the adverse time postponed the match until Monday. The second game between the two schools, which was initially to be played in Baton Rouge, will now be played in Thibodaux on Tuesday, April 8. This means that LSU ticket holders will have to use their game ticket 23, initially scheduled for April 8, to enter the game on Monday night.

The Nicholls game begins a section of five games in seven days for tigers. The team will face Dallas Baptist in Arlington, Texas on Wednesday, before heading in Kansas State, Nebraska and Sam Houston this weekend at the FRISCO College baseball classics in Texas.

The first step between tigers and colonels was set at 6:00 pm on Monday. The game will be broadcast live on SEC Network+ and will be broadcast on LSU Sports Radio.
