Tiger Woods is improving by Rory McIlroy in TGL Clash – Irvine Times

Jupiter connects the triumph in the overtime, winning the closest PIN decision after the teams finished 3-3 in the most competitive closed-league match so far.

Adam Scott threw a 31-foot Birdie Putt to win the 14th Boston hole and equalize the match, but Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner won their closest holes to win Jupiter Link.

Kim, who had three pressure strikes earlier to reduce the holes, approached his shot in the extra hole.

Woods, who made a penalty blow that took too much time over eight feet of bird poult to reduce the 10th hole against Machilroy, was delighted with what the match produced.

“It’s so different from normal golf. It was definitely different than when we first played, “he said.

“This is what we had foreseen for TGL, to have such an experience and I think we have delivered.”

McIlroy, who has joined the US captain Ryder Cup Kigan Bradley and Australian Adam Scott, said it was “incredible” to play against Woods under fresh conditions.

“I shared the course with him many times and have been in several final groups with him, and he has as much intensity tonight as he is when he tries to win a big championship or try to finish,” he said.

“It’s amazing to get up and compete against one of your characters.

“This is a competition, at the end of the day, and we are all trying to fight as much as we can.”
