Lubbock, Texas (January 27, 2025) – Chief Coach of Lubbock Christian University Softball Darren Hayes He finalizes the schedule of the regular season 2025, and Lady Chaparalli open their campaign 2025 Friday (January 31st) in the bay on the shore, ala, in the Bay of Invitational Bay. Their opening day is planned for games against No. 8 North Georgia (12:15) and a new southeast later this afternoon.
The Alabama season opening tournament celebrates the eighth road LCU has opened its season outside the state and fifth season in the last six years to do it in Alabama (2020, 2022 and 2024 in the Bay of Shore and 2021 in Mobile, ALA .). LCU is 10-9 for all time in games played on the shores of the Gulf.
Hays has scheduled 55 games in Docket, with their first five games being held at Gulf Shores. LCU, who followed their opening weekend in Alabama with six consecutive home games, will again follow their five neutral games in Alabama with six games. Lady Chaps’s home opening is scheduled for February 6, as LCU hosts Adams State for 15:00 at Maner Park.
Lubbock Christian, playing in his fifth season as the Lone Star conference members, will open his schedule at the conference at home in Double -headed, starting at 13:00 on February 14 against the University of Cameron. Lady Chaparrals will play 44 regular seasons of single star conference games (22 at home and 22 on the road), which is a new planning system. There are two divisions from eight teams and LCU will play one two -headed against each team to the east (16 games) and play a two -headed home and a home against opponents in the West (28 games).
Overall, LCU is scheduled for 28 home games (played 21 last season), with six conference matches and 22 LSC home games, all to play in Maner Park. LCU hosts Lubbock Sports College Invitational 6-9 February, with Adams State, Chadron State College, UT Permian Basin and Sul Ross State, joining the fields.
Divisions East and West winners automatically win a place in the LSC tournament with eight sowing teams designated by the conference record against all teams. The tournament with a single-eellying in the league is set for May 1-3 and will host Team # 1. The championship winner after the season will be recognized as the champion of the LSC tournament and will receive the automatic qualification of the league in the NCAA Piece.
Last season (without divisions), LCU finished sixth in the LSC standings with a 24-18 conference record. The season ended in the semi-finals of the LSC Championships, as LCU finished 26-22 as a whole.
