Jenny last visited us at Compass Point with the Avey Grouws band, this time she’s coming for a special self -performance! Jenny lives in Omaha as an artist in a residence with fire. She has been able to devote her time to creating more music by improving her playing skills with other highly qualified musicians and is ready to bring everything to Compass Point Home of Dirty Girl Adventures for you! Jeni Grouws is a songwritten songwriter and musician known for his work as a solo artist and co -founder of Roots Rock Band Avey Grouws Band (AGB). She began writing songs in 2008 after a proposal from her therapist, leading to the release of her Solo Scictic Route. Since then, Jenny has achieved significant steps in her career, with AGB winning a remarkable success, including two best albums by Billboard Blues Chartsing, The Devil May Care (#10) and Tell Tale Heart (#7). The group also triumphed as two -time winners of Iowa Blues Challenge and two time semi -finalists of International Blues Challenge. Sharing Marquee, and sometimes the scene with names such as Keb ‘Mo’, Buddy Guy, Beth Hart, Walter Trout, Fantastic Negrito, Shemekia Copeland and others celebrated the Avey Grouws group as exciting newcomers to Roots Rock and Blues Blues Blues Blues. Jenny’s song also received recognition, winning the best honors both in the 2020 songwriting contest and in the International Song Writing Competition 2021. Throughout her career, she continues to write distribution, working on a number of projects while maintaining a busy tour schedule. In September 2024, she moved to Omaha for a Fire game, where she would focus on writing songs until May 2025.
