Thunderbirds have a trio of transactions – our sports central

Winston -salem, NC – The Carolina Thunderbirds, proud members of FPHL, today had three transactions affecting this list. Defender Stephen Ford has been issued a double stop by FPHL after a Saturday night race against Port Huron Prowlers. The striker Peter Panachek has been extended to the 15-day IR, and forward Dawson Baker is extended to the 30-day IR.

Ford, who has played in 18 games with Carolina this year, will miss the two Biloxy games, Mississippi this weekend against the Mississippi Sea Wolves. Baker and Panachek, who were both put on IR on January 14, will miss more time. Baker and Panachek have not played on January 4 against Motor City rockers.

Thunderbirds are back on Friday, February 14th, against the sea wolves in Mississippi on the Mississippi Coast. Fans can watch the live game on Thunderbirds or listen to the WTOB 980 AM locally in Winston-Salem.
