Thsoa -southeast Chapter Sidescan, Sub Bottom and Multiveam Event – Newsbreak

The Hydrographic Society of America – the Southeast Head will conduct Chespeake Sonarwiz Sidescan, below and multi -storey training on February 11 and February 12, 2025 at Petroleum Club in Lafeyet Louisiana.

The two -day training seminar will cover all aspects of the Hydrographic examination, processing and reports of SIDESCAN, SUB Bottom and many rays using the Chesapeake Sonarwiz® package.

Join Harold Orlinski as he spends two days passing through the Chesapeake Sonarwiz® modules.

The class will cover both theory and practically, as all students will work through data sets using the most version of Sonarwiz®. Themes include Sidescan, Sub Bottom and Multiveam Bathymetry.

The class will start with SIDESCAN processing. By reaching the final mosaic and contacts, on the path learning the tools to improve the data set and solve problems found during data collection. New features will be used in Sonarwiz® for automatic processing, setting to detect targets and amplification. The following is the processing of the lower part as we look at different data sets. The lower path by marking the reflector, export data to 3D vertical curtain. We will complete the multi -storey processing class, starting with a patch and performance test, working through Stath and Eale Editor, we will see different data cleaning techniques.

All present will have access to Sonarwiz® license as practically practically an important aspect for the class. We will go through 8 to 10 different data sets, which allows us to go through the whole program. We will also have time to look at the client’s details and do not hesitate to bring some you may have problems with, or just want to improve it further.

The class will work from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm every day, with a few coffee and lunch breaks. In the evening of the first night, please join the class when heading for a local happy hour bar sponsored by SES and Chesapeake.

This event is a cheap opportunity for users to learn about Do and Dons about a successful research and a great opportunity to meet and contact other players in the industry.
