Three men cited for deer hunting disorders in Central Louisiana – Wgno New Orleans

Baton Rouge La. (S)KLFY) – Three men were quoted by Department of Wildlife and Fishing in Louisiana For alleged deer hunting disorders in several parishes.

Ricky Bordelon, 55 -year -old from Alexandria, and Kurtis Lavinya, 64 -year -old from Pineville, were quoted for the daily border of Antlerless Neer and failed to mark deer, staff said. William Pennington, a 53 -year -old Deville, was also cited over the over -season border of Ellen, who failed to mark deer and take illegal deer during the open season.

Officials said they had received reports that the three men had collected deer illegally. On January 18, during a license and compliance check, employees learned that the men had obtained a total of 12 illegal deer in the parishes of Win, Rapides and Avoyel during the hunting season 2024-25.

Bordelon can face civil restitution for a total value of $ 3.249, Penington can face $ 6,498 and Lavigne $ 9,748 for the replacement value of their illegally taken deer.
