Winston-Salem police have arrested three people in connection with a shooting on East 24th Street Monday that left a man with injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
Police responded to the 1900 block of E. 24th Street Monday afternoon and found J’meil Hairston, 48, suffering from gunshot wounds. Hairston was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
On Thursday, police said they had arrested three people in connection with the case:
*Izayiah Anaji Nieves, 18, Davonte Omar Lewis, 18, and Rahzier Lamond Delapp, 19, were charged with attempted robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, possession of a stolen motor vehicle and obstructing a police officer.
Nieves was also charged with assault with a deadly weapon causing serious injury and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle.
