Things to do: Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show celebrates 70th anniversary at Westworld – Queen Creek Sun Times

The world’s largest Arabian horse show is planned to celebrate its 70th annual event in Westworld from Scottsdale from February 13-23. Host by the Arabian Horses Association in Arizona (Ahaa), the show will include more than $ 2,100 horses competing for over $ 1 million in prize money.

The event will include a variety of competitions showing the elegance, flexibility and grace of Arab horses, as well as the exhibition for shopping, exhibits of fine arts and interactive experiences for visitors of all ages.

“This show is a special holiday for the people and horses who made this event a tradition here in Scottsdale,” says Melissa Schals, CEO of Ahaa. “Whether you are a longtime fan or visitor for the first time, there is something for everyone.”

The event will also celebrate the National Arabian Horse Day on February 19 with special activities and will offer several events targeting the community. Military officials and their families can visit free of charge on the day of the military assessment, February 18, and families can enjoy free reception, starting at 4:30 pm on a family night, February 21st.

Tickets are available on the gate and through the event website, Scottsdaleshow.com/Tickets. The total entrance is $ 15, with discounts for the elderly and free entrance for children under 17. A special 11-day pass is available for $ 75.

Arabic Arabia’s Arabian show will also support several charity organizations, including the Arabian Horsemen’s Disation Fund, Make-A-Wish Arizona, and horses help therapeutic ride.
