The Women’s Golf ends in 10th place in Texas State Invitational – UTRGV ATHLETICS

Blank – The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Wakeros Women’s Golf Team ended their first spring tournament ending in 10^th Put Invitational State in Texas on Tuesday at Vaaler Creek Golf Club.

Vaqueros finished with three rounds of 962 after posting a final round 329.

Junior Jackie Howard Gonzalez led Vaqueros with three rounds of 229 while she made the final round 74 to finish tied up for 12^th place. Sophomore Natalia Rodriguez published the last round 78 to finish tied up for 17^th With a result of three rounds 231.

Sophomore Camilla herera completed in 53^Rd With a score of three rounds 250 after the final round 86 and the senior Catherine Flores completed in 62^nd With a result of three rounds 267 after the publication of the finale 91.

The Texas host won the team title with a three round of 899 after publishing the final round 294. The summer of Oklahoma State Lee won the individual title with three rounds of 214 after publishing the final round 74.

Vaqueros will return into action February 17-18 in The Islander Classic as part of the Showdown South Texas, represented by Rally Credit Union.
