Suspect was previously charged with Las Vegas

Conli was arrested in July 2022 and was charged with a large theft of more than $ 25,000 and administering a drug to support a crime, Las Vegas Review-Journal reported at that time. Police said a man claims that two women he met at a bar at the Encore Hotel drugged him after inviting them to his room.

In the incident on July 9, 2022, the man told police that the women had forced drinking in his throat and he felt dizziness, police said. Colbert was also arrested and charged earlier the same year in a similar incident of theft on January 17 in Win Las Vegas, the Review reports. A man woke up in his hotel room with a bloody nose and found that $ 50,000 was missing; He also left, police said, a $ 30,000 clock, his mobile phone, $ 11,000 in casino chips and luggage.

Later, both cases were dismissed as the victims did not want to testify in court, said Daniel Lipman, the lawyer who represents Colbert, told the Associated Press. He had no comment on the new claims.

The allegations in both cases had dropped out in October 2022, but it was not clear why, The Times-Picayune reported.

Police: Suspect has a “plenty of recording and rap sheet”

Long before he was accused of Las Vegas, Colbert became a familiar name of the police in New Orleans, as she “has a rather record and rap game for games with confidence, access to fraud and robbery schemes,” said Conli in Friday.

The court records show that the district judge sentenced Kolbert to five years in prison, the maximum possible, but stopped the sentence and ordered it to serve five years of active probation, The Outlet reports.

Previously, Kolbert was arrested in December 2016 and accused of stealing credit cards by a man she met on Bourbon Street, The Times-Picayune reported at the time. She had used a man’s credit card to buy about $ 1,500 gift cards, News News Outlet reported.

In May 2016, Colbert pleaded guilty to the theft of between $ 500 and $ 1499 and the theft of goods under $ 750. She also received a 5-year suspended sentence after pleading guilty to charges of second-degree bank fraud, Times-Picayune reports.

This case stems from an incident in November 2014, in which police said Kolbert was arrested for theft after leaving a hotel in New Orleans with the clock, credit cards and money from a man she met on Bourbon Street.
