The Wisconsin Rapids man sentenced to 9 years for Met, a firearm taxi – WSAW

Madison, wis. (WSAW) -42-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man pleaded guilty and was sentenced to Nine years in prison for possession of Met with the intention of spreading and possessing two loaded firearms as a criminal.

Authorities claim that Bradley Rosenthal sold a methymphetamine to a confidential informant three times in February 2024.

On March 13, 2024, law enforcement agencies received a report on drug suspected car wash at NEKOOSA. The officers responded where they came across Rosental. After the K9, signaled the presence of illegal substances, law enforcement agencies searched the Rosental vehicle and found 266 grams of methamphetamine, two loaded firearms, a taser, $ 2,000 and drug distribution.

During the verdict, the judge expressed concern about Rosental’s “multiple serious crimes”, which include previous drug trafficking and firearm crimes, and his prolonged “endangering others”.

The investigation was conducted by the Central Working Group of Drugs in Wisconsin at the FBI and by the Wisconsin Rapids and Nesoza police departments. ATF Madison’s special weapons group also helped the case.

This case was brought as part of the Project Safe neighborhoods (PSN), the US Department of Justice Program to reduce crime by violence.
