Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) – The first victim of the Topeka city murder of 2025 was identified on Saturday, February 8th.
The deceased is identified as a 51 -year -old Olivia Miller from Topeka.
Topeka’s police officers responded to firing at 2700 BLK. of Swan Burnett Rd. On February 7 at about 7:30 in the morning
After arrival, three individuals were located with life -threatening injuries. One was pronounced on the spot by medical staff and the other two were taken to a local hospital.
As a result of the investigation, Devin M. Miller, 29 -year -old from Topeka, was arrested and reserved in the Department of Corrections of the showney County.
Miller was arrested on the following charges:
- Murder in 1st degree
- Weight Battery X2
This is the first homicide investigation in the city since 2025. The investigation is ongoing and updates will be provided as the investigation allows.
