The Texas expert is really back, “says Longhorns in the latest CFP projections – Sports Illustrated

While it was once a meme used to the detriment of Longhorn fans. Now, two direct appearances in the playoff of college later, it can be said that Texas is really “back”.

And if the latest predictions for the college college college playoffs next season by Matt Hayes on USATODAY, this statement of “back” does not seem to be set to change soon. In his forecasts, Hayes is currently seeing Longhorns returning him to the Petro -Education, this time as No. 6 seeds.

“Construction by coach Steve Sarkisyan,” Hayes wrote about the “good” for Texas. “Or the better way to say it: Texas is really back. This is included and play now with elite dialing classes (and a little help from the portal), and the expectations to win all these are in full force with the talented QB Arch manning, which accepts that he accepts over.

Based on the projections, Hayes does not see Longhorns capture his first Sect’s title. He has recently seen the Bulldogs from Georgia, who take home the SEC championship for the second consecutive year and are locked as seed # 2.

Penn State, Georgia, Clemson, Kansas State and Ohio are the only teams to qualify for Texas. So why is it? Well, Hayes looked at the potential concerns about Texas, which headed by 2025.

“Slow starts and/or chasing points in big games,” Hayes writes. “The loss of a regular season to Georgia in 2024, the losses of playoffs to Washington (2023) and the Ohio State (2024) and the loss of Oklahoma (2023).”

While Hayes has some reasonable concerns like the slow start. It is worth noting that on paper the crime Longhorns will really look different with the Manning Under Center. Will he be able to provide an additional spark or advantage that can see these problems disappear?

All this remains to be seen. Still, at least for the time being, it seems that the consensus that Texas will not go anywhere when it comes to a dispute over playoffs.
