Two lawyers who were accused by a woman who worked in their home for sexually shifting that they had entered into smaller accusations as part of a deal with state prosecutors.

Gabriel and Sarah Warren, who were arrested on March 12, each of whom was charged with a sexual battery, a second -degree crime, did not compete on Thursday for the illegal use of a two -way communication device, a third -degree crime.

The Judge of Leon Circuit Tiffany Baker-Carper declined the decision and sentenced both 48 months probation and 15 days in prison in the county, with a loan for two days. Both Warns wanted to serve their time in the Vacuule County Prison, where they had to report no later than 19:00 on Monday.

The victim who has been working at Warnes’ home for several years told police that the couple had been sexually after they returned from a meeting on March 10, 2023. Warnes told the victim that they were thinking of having sex with For her sake because of her for months, she kissed her and touched her, according to court records.

She repeatedly said she was uncomfortable and that she was at work, but Warnes would not let her leave. The victim told investigators that Gabriel Warren had sexual act on her in the direction of his wife, before she finally could gather her things and escape.

As part of the legal basis agreement, Vorans publicly apologized to the victim, who was in the courtroom with several loved ones and sobbed throughout the proceedings.

“Thinking about my actions that I understand now, it was completely unacceptable, I deeply regret that I violated your confidence by initiating sexual action on March 10, 2023 and I am not justified for what I did,” said Sarah Warren. “While my actions cannot be returned, please know that I am concerned and embarrassed by my actions that night.”

Gabriel Warren admitted that he “made a mistake” when he initiated sexual activity without the victim’s consent.

“Now I see the harmful effects my actions had on you,” he said. “Although I would not have guessed to understand the depth of your feelings on that night, I know I hurt and sorry.”

If the war were tried and sentenced to a sexual battery, they could be sentenced to at least 15 years in prison and forced to register as sexual offenders. The illegal use of a communication device has a less sentence of five years.

State prosecutor’s assistant Adrian Muse, who pursues the case, said the state consulted for a long time with the victim, who gave her a blessing for the legal basis agreement.

“This is a difficult case,” Mood said. “We often do not come to perfect resolution, but this is also done by considering the risk of proceeding to a lawsuit and there are potentially no consequences in the case of not guilty sentence.”

Gabriel and Sarah Warren were represented respectively by Talahasi’s lawyers Fred Conrad and Robert Alex Maurice.
