The star “Little House on Prairie” shoots back to Magin Kelly over “wake up” Restart a comment – NBC DFW

The lady of the house was talking.

Melissa Gilbert, the star of the original Little House on the Prairie, replied to the conservative media personality, Magin Kelly because of her recent comment on the upcoming Netflix restart of the favorite series.

“Netflix, if you wake up” Little House on the Prairie, “I will make my only mission to ruin your project absolutely,” Kelly published on January 29th.

Gilbert replied with a topic post, calling for Kelly to “watch every episode of every streaming platform all over the world.”

“Obviously, Magin Tweeta (I’m not on this platform) asking Netflix not to” wake up “his remake of Little House,” Gilbert continued. “Hmmm … watch the original again. Television is not too much “awakened” than we do. We did: racism, addiction, native, anti -Semitism, misogynia, rape, abuse of spouses and any other “awakened” topic you can think of. Thank you very much. “

The 60 -year -old Gilbert participated in the original series, which aired in the NBC for nine seasons between 1974 and 1983. The show was adapted by a series of children’s books by Laura Ingles Wilder.

Located in Minnesota in the late 1800s, it follows the life and adventures of the Ingalls family – with Gilbert depicting the author of the books.

The show, with original episodes that are currently transmitted to peacock and broadcast on Cozi TV, is now ready to return more than four decades after the last episode aired.
