General information:

• Your full name,
• Address (city, state, zip code),
• Telephone number,
• And an alternative telephone number (if any)

Necrologist specification:

• Name of the deceased,
• Necrologist Text,
• Photo in JPEG or PDF file is preferable, TIF and other files are accepted, we will contact you if there are problems with the photo.
• Advertising dates
• There is a work discount for more than a day, but this must be planned on the first date of performance to apply.
• If a photo is used, it should be used for both days to apply the discount, contact us for more information.

Policies:

Death check:

In order to publish obituaries, the name and telephone number of the funeral society/cremation society is required. We need to contact the Funeral House/Cremation Society, which deals with the arrangements during its working hours to check death. If the body of the deceased is donated to the University of Minnesota an anatomical establishment or a similar program, their telephone number is required to check.

Please allow enough time to contact them, especially during their limited hours over the weekend.

A death certificate is also acceptable for this purpose, but only one of these two options is needed.

Guest Book and External Websites:

We are not allowed to refer to other media sources with a guest book or a necrologist placed elsewhere when we put an obituary in print and online. We can put a website for a funeral home or a family contact email instead; Contact us with any questions about this.

Necrologist process:

Once your submission is completed, we will send a fax or e -mail an e -mail to evidence to review before publishing in the newspaper. This proof includes the price and days in which the notice is planned to appear.

Please examine the proof carefully. We need to be notified of errors or changes before the Pioneer Press notice appears based on the deadlines for each day.

After publication, we will not be liable for errors that may occur after final evidence.

Online:

Changes to an online necrologist can be processed through the obituary desk. Call us with additional questions.

Payment procedure:

Pre-payment is necessary for all obituaries before publication up to the deadline specified below in our schedule of a deadline. Please call 651-228-5263 With your payment information after you have received the proof and approved its contents.

Credit Card: Payment accepted by phone only because of PCI rules (payment card industry)

Eft: Check by phone. Please provide your route number and account number.

Money: Accepted in our Front counter Monday – Friday from 8:00 – 15:30

Prices:

• The minimum fee is $ 162 for the first 10 lines.
• Each line after the first $ 10 is $ 12.20.
• If the ad is under 10 lines, the minimum rate of $ 162 will be charged.
• On the second date of execution, the lines are $ 8.20 per row, starting with the first row.
• For example: if the date of the first performance is 20 lines, the price will be $ 164.
• Each picture posted is $ 125 a day.
• For example: 2 photos in the 2 -day paper will be 4 fees for $ 500 photos.

Please follow the Deadline Times to ensure that your necrologist has been posted on the requested day.

Memoriam

Unlike the obituary, the presentation of memory is the memories of a loved one who has passed. Memorial prices are different from obituaries.
