All the winning stripes were ended in the end, and Monday meant the end of the 10-man for the southern man’s basketball team.
The Jaguars were returned to the ground by a loss of 82-81 in Alabama. After making less than 50% of his free -win at Alabama Alabama, Southern improved to 72% against Hornets. This was not enough, as in the last minute the last minute was injured south with four missed throws.
Southern (15-9, 10-1 SWAC) seems to be back on the road with home matches against two teams that he won in January. Jaguars face Prairie View at 16:30 Saturday and Texas South at 8:00 pm on Monday in a game that will be aired by ESPNU.
The national audience is a sure bet that the South is ready to play the best, but first the jaguars have to go through the prairie view.
After starting 3-1 in the league game, Prairie View (4-20, 3-8) has lost its last seven games. The Panthers lost three road games during this section and were swept away last week by Betun-Kukman and Florida A&M.
Southern won the Prairie View 84-80 on January 6th. There were three connections in the game, but Southern never went. TANAHJ PETTWAY, SWAC’s leading goalkeeper with 17.7 points per game, scored 21 for the Panthers.
South beat Texas South 67-58 in Houston on January 4, but tigers recovered, winning their next seven games. Texas South (10-14, 7-4) also lost to Florida A&M and Bethune-Cookman last week and it was a Baton Rouge, hoping to shake off a lost series of three games.
Jordan Johnson led the south with 20 points in the first match, but he has cooled in the last games. After an average of three 3-chap in a match in SWAC’s first Sout SWAC games, he has only done three in total in the last four games.
In the SWAC ranking, the South holds two games over Betun-Kukman and Jackson. With eight conference matches, 6-2 closure will ensure that Jaguars is no worse than equality in the first place.
