Naugatuck, CT (WFSB)-South Carolina’s men was arrested for luring and promoting a 13-year-old girl after a monthly investigation.
The investigation, which began on November 8, 2024, identified 23-year-old Matthew Goki after a complaint was filed for his relationship with a minor.
Complaining about the relationship included sending sexually explicit photos and conversations on social media and devices.
The investigation revealed that Gicky was sending inappropriate images and asked the victim to respond with his photos.
He is also involved in talks about sexual activity.
Authorities have found that Gokie is using a haircut tactics, giving false promises to maintain control over the victim during his six -month relationship.
On February 14, 2025, Gokie surrendered to the Naugi Police Department after learning of an active arrest warrant.
Goki was accused of promoting a minor in obscene execution, luring a minor on a computer and the risk of injury to the child.
Gokie was kept on a $ 200,000 bond and was appointed to the Waterbury Supreme Court on the same day.
Police have reminded parents of monitoring the social media of their children and online activities, emphasizing that after the photos are shared on the Internet, they are constant.
