Mabie – the body of a fisherman, who is reported to have fallen into the North California River and was probably swept under the ice on Tuesday, has been restored, authorities said Wednesday afternoon. The Service of Plumas County Sheriff reacted shortly before 3:00 pm Tuesday in the Mabi area along the middle fork of the Perot River after receiving a report that a fisherman had disappeared after falling into the river. The call, who caught fishing with two other people, was connected and employees began to look for the surrounding area. However, MPs said the fisherman was not found Tuesday. Rescue efforts again took the first thing on Wednesday. The deputies said in the afternoon that they had restored the body of 18-year-old Leonardo Mickelonis of Sparks, Nevada. The demand and rescue of Plumas County, the East Plumas Eastern Pickens and a Becow Picked Fire reacted to the scene. The California Highway Patrol, Graeagle Fire and US Forest Service employees have also helped search efforts. Mabi, located between Portola and Gragal, is about 150 miles northeast of Sacramento with a population of about 180.
