The Santa Fe man arrested in a suspected incident with a gun at Devargas Center – Yahoo! Voices

A man was arrested by police in Santa Fe on Monday on suspicion of shooting a pellet pistol at a shop in the center of Devargas.

The incident did not report injuries, said Deputy Chief Thomas Grndler, but numerous windows at the Homegoods store were damaged.

Police were sent to the business around 11 in the morning after the dispatchers received shots to report call at the store, Grndler said.

Employees have arrested a 24-year-old man at his home from the south side of the incident, he said. The man was seen by witnesses who move away from the scene in the blue Ford Fiesta after shooting what is thought to be a pellet pistol in front of the store, according to police. Currently, New Mexican is not publishing the name of the man as he has not been charged with crimes in the incident of Monday afternoon.

Employees were preparing to obey a search order at a man’s home on Monday afternoon hoping to restore the weapon.

“It seems to be a pellet pistol at the moment,” Grundler said. “We are in the process of executing a search order to confirm this.”

At least one window in front of the HomeGoods store seemed to be broken on Monday afternoon, and the scene of the crime scene was strung around the entrance and sidewalks in front of the store. The store was still closed at about 2pm on Monday.
