The Pennsylvania man arrested in shocking burglary at an abandoned Wilmington Hospital – Micho

Wilmington, de -Delaware State Police have charged a Pennsylvania man in connection with a series of thefts that have occurred in 2024 at the former Hospital of Emily Bisel Hospital, an already closed facility located in Wilmington.

The investigation began in August 2024, when soldiers responded to numerous reports of breach and theft at the Newport Gap Pike Free Hospital. Authorities claim that two people were responsible for theft of objects, including what it seems to be honey, and loads them into Ford’s black truck bed. Thefts are reported to cause significant damage to the property.

Through investigative efforts, police have identified suspects such as 47-year-old Robert Pots from Marcus Hook, Pennsylvania and accomplice, Francis Ricards. Subsequently, warrants were issued for their arrests.

On February 17, 2025, Robert Potts was extradited from Pennsylvania to Delaware. He was removed by soldiers and transported to squad 2, where he was officially charged with numerous crimes, including four third -degree burglary, three accusations of more than $ 5,000 criminal offended, and various thefts and accusations of conspiracy.

Pots was appointed to the Supreme Court of New Castle County and was released after publishing a secured bond of $ 5,000.

Law enforcement officers emphasize that the charges remain charges and all suspects are considered innocent until they are proven to be guilty of court.
