Muskegon – The 19-10 quarter-quarter mileage drives the Oakridge boys’ basketball team over Fremont 61-52 on Tuesday night.

The Eagles jumped to 21-16 leads at the end of the first quarter, the game was tied by 31-31 at the half time and the trouble-free by 42-42, directing the last quarter before Okridge’s victory.

“Oakridge has done enough to win the victory against an annoying, hardworking Fremont team,” said Okridge Tracy Ruel coach. “Fremont came out and fulfilled a great game plan to create problems with Oakridge all night.”

Michael Vambo led the Eagles with 16 points and nine fights, while Evan Jose had 10 points and nine fights.

Evan Miller chipped 10 points for Oilge and Peyton Ruel contributed 10 points and seven assists. Logan Huston scored nine points.

The paciers were led by Carter Sherman with 14 points, six rebounds and two thefts, while the Red Powell had 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
