The Norfolk Forum invites you to an inspiring evening with the local and Olympic medalist of Virginia Beach, Angela Hill Mangano – military relatives.com.com

The Norfolk Forum will welcome a native of the Virginia House and a two -time Gold Olympic medalist Angela Hulls Mangano on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in the center of Norfolk Hall of Norfolk (19:30).

While at the forum, Angela will share her trip from local football flights to the global stage. Angela graduated from the Norfolk Academy in 1996 as a leading goal scorer with 204 goals and 106 assists. At the University of Virginia, Angela has gained 59 goals (19 winners in the game!) And remains the leader of women in their career in goals, winning games and common points. She was a member of the US Gold Medal team for the 2004 Summer Olympics, and she played a decisive role for the US Gold Medal team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Angela retired from a club and international football in October 2009 .

Angela recently joined Houston Dash as president of women’s football. Previously, he was a general manager and founder investor of the Angel City football club. With over 35 years of experience in the sports industry, Angela’s passion helps others achieve their goals and dreams. She will present her insights on the power of sports and her impact on personal growth and development and how to rethink leadership in today’s workforce to put yourself and your company in the winning tape.

Founded in 1933, the Norfolk Forum is the oldest publicly signed speaker forum in the country. Each season, the forum presents public figures that, in different ways, help to shape American thought and opinion. After each presentation, the speakers engage the audience in a session with questions and answers.
