The Catholic College of St. Paul, Manli opens a new chapter in his rich history, covering almost 100 years of education on the northern beaches with the beginning of a joint education.
Established in 1929 as Christian Brothers Manli and originally located on Ragran Street, the college moved in 1965 to the site of the St. Patrick mansion on Eastern Hill.
St. Paul is part of the Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Broken Bay (CSBB) – a network of 45 Catholic schools covering the regions of the Central Beach, the North coast and the northern beaches
The transition to St. Paul jointly begins this year with 7, 10 and 11 years, moving to full cooperation in 2026.
Moving to Co-Ed is no surprise to many parents and teachers in St. Paul. The transition was planned as part of the college strategy by 2025, committed to “adapting to the developing needs of families in the area.”
To reflect the “new” St. Paul, the branding is refreshed, including new uniforms, campus signs, a new website – and even a specialized St. Paul coach to transport students to and from school.
Of course, there will be new staff – including his first director.
Bishop Anthony Randatso, along with Danny Casey, director of Catholic schools Broken Bay (CSBB), recently announced the appointment of the new director G -Ja Gabi Stoyanovski, who brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership experience from his role as an assistant director at Matter Maria Catholic College , Warriwood.
“I am glad to have been appointed director of the college at Manly’s St Paul and I lead the transition to joint education,” says Mrs. Stojanovski.
“I am incredibly excited about the meeting with all our new students and we embark on this trip together. The focus for 2025 will be the creation of a life community and a supportive learning environment where each student can thrive and reach their full potential. “
Mrs. Stojanovski will also monitor the college festivities planning in 2029 and is eagerly awaiting the first accomplice to graduate.
John Hunt, who is part of St. Paul’s 2023 team, has been declared an assistant director and says: “We are extremely excited for our college in 2025 and after that!
“The ability to bring St. Paul to a new era of joint education as a staff is such a privilege as we are prepared for. Our teaching, learning and well -being teaching programs are improved to include the most educational research to guide and support our students. “
In preparing for the transition, CSBB invests significantly in college, as modernizing facilities, including the introduction of a senior learning center designed to support contemporary teaching practices
In order to provide a hassle -free and high quality transition, St. Paul has hired additional experienced staff to improve administration and teaching teams.
Co -planning in college and throughout CSBB networks will continue to play a vital role in a successful transition.
College staff participated in expert teaching groups at the Catholic Schools of Broken Bay, where they all share expertise and cooperate with the development of curricula and resources for the benefit of all.
Individual training needs are well supported not only by every teacher, but also by the diverse college school team – each student has a clear plan for progression, suitable for their age and stage of training.
St. Paul also participates in various programs for enrichment in science, technology and trade, supported by universities and business and have a strong reputation of success in creative arts, boasting a number of finalists in the prestigious Northern Beaches Award and the award for the Northern Beaches and Art and Award for Arts and Award on the Northern Beaches and the Award of the Bishop of Creative and Performing Arts Award.
St. Paul has an election sports program that encourages healthy life, respect for others and cooperation. Representative sports teams provide students with opportunities to further develop self -discipline, ambition and humility in both victory and defeat.
The college is related to the Catholic schools NSW Sport, providing a way to the state and national representation.
