The new railway bridge opens in Nuevo Laredo to increase in trade – KGNS

Nuevo Laredo, Mexico (KGNS), a new train bridge built by the Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC), was opened on Thursday, February 6, in Nuevo Laredo. The bridge is expected to double the number of goods moved between Mexico, the US and Canada.

The bridge is named after Patrick J. Otensmayer, who was the president and CEO of Kansas City South.

Several employees attended the event, including Oscar del Quo, President of the Canadian Pacific, and Nuevo Mayor Larendo Carmen Lilia Canturosas. Tamaulipas Governor America Villarreal was also there and later on social media that the train El Mexica It will soon connect Tamalipas with Mexico City.

Mexico President Claudia Shainbaum could not attend.

The new bridge will help trade and transport between the three countries.
