Carson City, Nev. (Kolo) – A new bill, entered into the legislation of the State of Nevada, will prohibit the SCC agents from entering the school districts from investigating or implementing the laws of immigration without an order or legal order.
AB217 has been introduced by a member of the session Gonzalez and will also prohibit the use of chemical agents or stunning weapons against a student.
The bill will also prohibit the school area or public school from disclosing or providing educational records or information to a student or their families on ice, unless directed to do so by order or legal order.
Any person found in violation of the proposed ordinance will be charged with a crime.
