Nevada Democratic Representative Stephen Vadford again introduced the legislation on Thursday to eliminate the salary of submarines and to terminate taxes on the advice-by adding a popular proposal for a policy supported by Republicans and pushed by President Donald Trump.
“The advice is a gift, not a guarantee and after the time we admit that in our tax code,” Horsford says in a statement.
The Tips Protection and Support Act (Tips), which was first introduced last September, eliminated the federally inclined salary of $ 2.13 per hour and sets protection aimed at ensuring that millionaires cannot advice, Horsford said in an interview at Thursday.
Federal legislators have numerous versions of tax termination bills. Nevada Senator Jackie Rosen and Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, re-introduced the Tax Tax Act to remove taxes on inclined income, and it includes provisions aimed at taking advantage.
Urford said he worked with a fair salary and other organizations to make sure that a job was enough to win a fair salary.
“Legislative centers of workers and their needs so that we get these jobs to pay for themselves and the important thing – that we remove the tax on the advice so that workers can keep more of the money they have earned through their hard work, – – – Horsford said.
Nevada is the “gold standard” as one of the few countries without a submarine salary, but this can change with actions from the legislature and the governor, he said. This bill would codify that as well as help about 6 million workers at the top – 70 percent of whom are women and people in color – only $ 2.13 per hour is paid throughout the country, Horsford said.
The Congressman said he had met with Republicans who had expressed support for the provisions of his bill and he would include his colleagues on both sides of the path to receive the bill and the signature in the law.
“If Republicans and Democrats … seriously deal with workers and make sure they can keep more of their hard -to -make money, then this is the bill that does it,” Horford said.
