Reno, Nev. (Kolo) – The National Bowling Stadium in Renault celebrates 30 years in business this February.

Since its opening, the stadium has welcomed more than 1 million people since 1995.

“The 30th anniversary of the National Bowling Stadium is a special stage and we are excited to celebrate with our community,” said Renault Taho President and CEO Mike Larageta. “The importance of this place as a tourism engine cannot be overestimated, generating an impressively estimated economic impact of $ 1.8 billion. We are grateful to the city of Renault for the predictability and recognition of bowling as a supporting industry. We also want to express our gratitude to our community partners for their dedication, as well as to the United States Bowling Congress, which continues to evaluate NBS as a leading place for bowling in the US “

7.6 million games have been played at the stadium and is currently planned to bring five tournaments in the near future, the open championships in 2026, 2029 and 2032, as well as at the Women’s Championships in 2028 and 2033.

“The Cup of the 30th anniversary of NBS not only offers the opportunity to experience this emblematic place, but also supports the junior achievements of North Nevada, helping to inspire and prepare the next generation for success.”
