Saturday evening will be very busy in our region, but certainly for a valid reason.
The most cold walks on the night of the year are held in the communities in Canada.
Walks in our region include Port Hope, Kingston, Kobberg, attack, Belville and Trenton.
This is the first year for Trenton Care and Share Food Bank
Jen Koornneef’s joint manager tells Quinte News that the walk is happening in over 190 cities in Canada.
“It is in support of organizations that offer services in the field of hunger, homelessness or injury. I really hope that businesses in Quinte West are rally around this event. You can support the event in several different ways. “
