Seattle – The facilitated rainfall is wrapped, but the cold air is settled in Western Washington. We will see some of the most cold temperatures so far this season earlier this week as temperatures drop to about 20 degrees in Western Washington. Make sure you are prepared for freezing nights and mornings.

Temperatures are expected to drop by 10 to 20 degrees below normal this week.
By the numbers:
Temperatures are expected to cool to between 10 and 20 degrees by the early mornings, so look for ice spots with residual moisture from melting snow. The sail fog is also possible and with freezing temperatures there will probably be freezing fog. Be careful during morning travel hours.

Dangerous cold temperatures are about to start tonight until Wednesday morning.
The winds will rise throughout the day on Monday and will bring a more cool, drier air mass. Fraser’s outflow will bring cold air to the County Whatcom County. Wind winds will push more cool air into the rest of Puget’s sound.

Fraser Outflow returns a chow air to the County Whatcom.
What’s next:
Sunny and dry until Wednesday with frigid temperatures, then another chance for a winter mix next weekend.
