The massive drug bust in South Carolina gives enough to “kill 800,000 people” – WRDW

Edgemoor, SC (WBTV) – Authorities have recently seized enough drugs to “kill more than 800,000 people” from a Chester County, staff said, resulting in the arrests of a man and a woman.

The seizure was the largest of the sheriff office of Chester County and consisted of 3.7 kilograms of fentanyl, 87 grams of cocaine and approximately two kilograms of marijuana. The deputies also took 17 guns, two vehicles and over $ 91,000 in cash.

“These drugs had the potential to kill more than 800,000 people,” said Sheriff Max Dorssy. “These drugs kill people throughout our country, and Chester County is no exception. Nevertheless, our office will continue to use every resource available to eradicate any drug trafficking and a Chester county dealer. “

Following the seizure of illegal drugs on January 31, Virwis and Lamonic Dixon were arrested.

Both travaris and lamonic were charged with the following crimes:

• Traffic 28 g. or more than fentanyl
• Traffic 28-100 g. cocaine
• Possession with the intention of spreading marijuana
• Possession of a weapon during violence

The sheriff’s service said the investigation has still been active since February 3 and more accusations can be filed.

“The life of our citizens is too valuable to be wasted because of selfish and money, hungry drug dealers who want to prey on vulnerable people who are fighting addiction,” Dorses said. “I encourage families who know about people who are struggling with opioid addiction to seek immediate help, as any delay can come with deadly expenses.”

During a press conference on February 3, Dorshees said that Varvaris and Lamonic Dixon were married.
